About Hiro and David

With 20+ years of sales experience, David could have brought a formulaic approach to Open Range clients. Instead, he’s doing what he’s been doing for two decades: Listening. Asking. Uncovering each client’s specific business challenges. And providing strategic, cost-effective solutions. His non-linear background – from designing restaurant kitchens to consulting as a Senior Representative for a major college book publisher – makes him a quick study, and time counts when you need to communicate. Of course it’s not just about the analysis. David’s clients appreciate his innate ability to build strong, lasting relationships that put their best interests first.

Hiro Amano spent more than a decade producing television and film projects all over the U.S. and Canada before going freelance. He has worked behind the camera in almost every imaginable capacity, shooting commercials, TV dramas, corporate videos, music videos, and documentaries.  During his long association with NHK, Japan's national TV network, he worked primarily on science and public affairs documentaries. Notable projects include an award-winning film about an elderly American couple whose lives are turned upside down when their son becomes a POW during the first Gulf War; accompanying the Inuit of Baffin Island on a narwhal hunt; racing in a cross-country vintage car rally; battling hypoxia at the peak of Mauna Kea on Hawaii’s Big Island; camping out with 100,000 walruses in Alaska; a six-part series about the human brain; and driving cattle across Montana’s Big Hole Valley with real cowboys.
